Happy Bosami week!! I’m late aheheheh!

Bolin was a happy person, Asami thought. But even happy people have their moments. Having all that optimism and energy meant that there was a some negativity swirling in his big heart. But he needed a friend to help pull that negativity out, or else it’ll just grow bigger and bigger the more he leaves it alone.

And that’s what she found herself doing that Friday afternoon. Bolin and her had set up a lunch date at Narook’s, a hey-I-haven’t-seen-you-so-let’s-hang-out deal. They had already talked about the weather and a couple of rumors about the gang wars, when Bolin suddenly spilled his heart out to her. 

He blurted out in the middle of a sentence, “I hate my pro-bending team.”

Pacing is a bit weird. I wish I had some more drabbles in between this and the one before but I get super impatient!

Can you tell dialogue is my favorite part of writing? i just. uh. yeah.

Bolin didn’t think he was the stalker type.

He tapped his finger on his chin. No, he definitely wasn’t. His footsteps were way too loud, his voice a little too obnoxious, and according to his elementary school gym teacher, his aura was so happy and massive it’d be hard to miss.

But this was something he had to do. He tip-toed with a look of determination, hiding behind corners and bushes.

His brother had been in a bad mood. It wasn’t just any bad one, though, it was….peculiar. Particular. The only kind of bad mood that Bolin associated it as, “Mako brooding because someone reminded him of how unfortunate he is.”

“I’m heading out after breakfast,” Korra announced over the table. Tenzin stopped mid-bite, while Aang and Katara stared at her to continue. “Mako, Bolin, and Asami said they’d take me around Republic City.”

Katara was a twenty-year-old violinist-slash-aspiring doctor preparing for her string quartet at a fancy, expensive banquet when she saw a man sleeping on the hotel couch.

She was somewhat surprised to see a man in a tuxedo lounging so easily. A top hat covered his eyes, and his blue bowtie hung untied around his collar. His legs were thrown over the thick arm rests, his arm sprawled over the backseat, and his other hand resting on his chest. An Old English Sheepdog that was a peculiar white with a brown body sat next to him, bumping its nose on his shoulder every now and then. Katara stood there, violin and bow in hand, unsure what to do. He was here for the banquet, that was obvious enough, but was she really going to prod a stranger to stop looking so indecent in public?
